“Supporting
Scouting” is a brand designed and launched by the National Scout Committee of the Barbados Boy Scouts Association
to raise funds for Scouting and to place Scouting more in the public domain. Launched in November 2008, the logo will be used to
brand a line of merchandise which will be sold to the general public. The sale of the merchandise will generate revenue and the use
of the items by the public will place the Scouting logo in the public’s eye.
The brand will be used exclusively during the first year by the Scout Section to raise funds for the upcoming Jamborees. Subsequently it will be used by the various Sections of the Association to raise funds for their programmes. The merchandise will include Key Rings, T-Shirts, Hats, Pens, and Bags among other items.
The items are available to the public through the Scout Troops and the eShop on this website.
