Hi My wife and I came to Barbados in 1994 and before we came, made contact with Ursula Braithwaite who was then your National Training Commissioner. During our stay we also met Charles McClean (Chief Scout) and were invited to his home for a meal. We also met Ken Pile, Victor Mathews and Richard Arthur, all of whom in turn took the trouble to take us on tours of the Island. Two other highlights were that we were invited to the Northern District Scout Service on 6 March at St Peters Parish Church and the following Sunday 13 Marc, to the Bridgetown District Church Parade at Calvary Moravian Church. At both events we were treated like VIPs which was quite unexpected!
We are hoping to return next year and hope to coincide our visit so that we could attended these Church Services again if appropriate. Could you let me have the dates for 2011 please? I would be also interested to meet up with a Scout who joined with our Hertfordshire UK contingent to the World Jamboree in Greece in 1963. He would be about 62 now. Unfortunately I do not have a name.

I used to live in Barbados from 1979-1980. I am an Eagle Scout. I heard this is a 2012 Jamboree in Barbados. I would love to bring my family to visit.
